Hi, I have a small suggestion regarding the scratchpad on skydemon for iPAD

During a flight, it takes several key presses to bring up the scratchpad which is a bit cumbersome.

It would be much more useful to just have 1 key press so that its easy to flip between the scratchpad and the map during flight!

Any chance of having a short cut key so we can easily flip between the two whilst in flight?

Andy, this gets my vote. If you look at the second page of 'Suggestions and Beta Discussion', you'll see this has been raised a couple of times before, but does not seem to have attracted much support from the majority of users. The team at SD do a great job incorporating many user inputs, but unless it gets general support, understandably, they do not divert their main effort in improving the product. Maybe this time others will agree with you!

It's always good to have some community involvement in suggestions like this, but I'd like to point out that it takes two touches to bring up the scratchpad, which in my mind is less than several.

Agreed, but also please note that after flight you need to either leave the iPad 'navigating' or 'start simulation' to access the scratchpad to copy flight details (times, etc) for post flight admin. One button at 'top level' would also solve this minor irritant.

A simple one-button click would suffice, so we can flip between map and scratchpad

Its not always easy to navigate quickly to the scratchpad at present, especially during a flight when you are speaking to ATC

We've implemented a simple swipe gesture to access the scratchpad in the forthcoming 2.4.5 version. A swipe to the left across the virtual radar will bring it up.

In an earlier post, myself and a couple of others asked if it was possible to be able to see the 'currnt location' detail when on the scratch pad to aid passing info to ATC units when talking to them, and with the scratch pad ready to note their details. Any thoughts on that idea?
